Do I pay for linens I don't use? TOP
Once your order is place, we turn away potential business on those items. Once our linens leave for delivery we must charge for all linens delivered. Please try to cancel any uneeded linens 2 weeks before your event.
When is the balance of the contract due? TOP
All balances must be paid in full prior to your event. We ask that your final payment be received two weeks before your event if paying with check and no later than three days before your event if paying with credit card. Any additions to the contract due to last minute changes will be posted to the credit card on file the following business day.
How can I help prevent missing or damaged items? TOP
Discuss with your caterer or organizer the importance of not removing any items from the event which are the property of Cover Me Satin.
Make specific note of any specialty linens such as cake table or cocktail table linens, which should be gathered and placed with the rest of the order.
If any items must be removed before or during the event, have them stored in a secure location and placed with the order after the event.
Discuss with the facility staff the importance of taking care when removing the linens, especially if dealing with candles. Hot wax can severely damage fine linens, so be sure that the candles are extinguished and that the wax has solidified before they are removed.
What are your overlay sizes? What table sizes do they fit? TOP
Our overlays come in two sizes.
The 55" square overlay fits over a 36" and 48" round table.
The 85" square overlay fits over a 48", 54", 60" and 72" round table.
Do you provide production services (delivery, set-up and take down)? TOP
Cover Me Satin does provide delivery and setup services in the greater Houston area if needed. Our staff can install chair covers and sashes, custom drape head tables, buffet tables or cake tables. We provide setup complementary in the Houston metroplex. Charges for delivery is based on location and range from $30.00 to $150.00. Cover Me Satin will do a latenight pick up for an additional charge per vehicle needed. Please call about our late night pick up fee.
How do I handle moist or wet linens after an event? TOP
If your rented linens have gotten damp or wet during an event, please allow the linens to air dry before placing them our laundry bags. This will help prevent damage such as mildew or other damages, which will result in replacement charges.
When will my order be picked up after an event? TOP
Delivery and pick up times differ depending on event location.
For local events (Houston area), all Monday through Thursday event orders will be picked up the day after the event. All Friday, Saturday or Sunday events are picked up the following Monday. All delivery and pick up charges are associated by location. We will by responsible for 1 pick. If any items are not picked up it is the clients responsiblity to return the items once notified.
We also offer local late night pick-up for an additional fee. Please call for our late night pick up fees.
If I don't see the color I am looking for, can you get it in for me? TOP
We are constantly adding to our rental inventory. If you don't see the color you are looking for, please bring us a swatch and we will search for a color that will be a suitable match at no addtional cost. Please allow 6-8 months production time.
